The circulating water tank of a closed cooling tower is determined by the operating mode of its equipment. Its materials are mostly stainless steel and a small amount of FRP materials, which have equipment operation stability and good pressure resistance and corrosion resistance. The box of the circulating water tank is basically square. In terms of shape, the appearance is also relatively good. The capacity of the water tank varies from 0, 5 to 20 square meters, depending on the specific operation of the equipment. At the bottom of the circulating water tank, we usually have efficient water pumps and high-quality water pipes.
A closed cooling tower operates through circulating water or fluid and is divided into two closed loops. 1. Internal circulation: Circulating water or fluid passes through the hot zone environment, and after the temperature of the water flow increases, it enters the surface cooler inside the tower. The heat is transferred to the external environment of the tower through the surface cooler and ventilation fan. The cooled circulating water or fluid is transported to the heat source by a water pump. 2. Tower external circulation: Spray water is transported to the spray system through water pipes, and the spray water exchanges heat with the packing material, rapidly cooling the spray water. The water contacts the surface of the surface cooler for heat exchange, and some of the hot steam is discharged through the ventilation fan. The cooling spray water falls into the water tank for secondary circulation, forming external circulation cooling.
The necessity of a closed cooling tower equipped with a circulating water tank is as follows:
1. Add water to the closed cooling tower circulation system. Water replenishment function, especially in winter, can add antifreeze from the water tank appropriately;
2. Plays the role of a stabilizing device, allowing for reasonable pressurization and depressurization of the entire closed cooling tower circulation process, and preventing water overflow;
3. Eliminate excess air from pipelines and closed cooling tray tubes;
4. Not used in winter, when the closed cooling tower is shut down, the medium in the closed cooling tray tube can be discharged into the water tank, which has anti freezing function;
5. Closed cooling tower water tanks generally have liquid level display devices that can monitor the water level of circulating water in the pipeline. The closed cooling tower circulating water tank is connected by pipeline interfaces and automatic replenishment devices. Only in this way can it bring certain convenience to circulating working water or other circulating working fluids.
