1. Installation requirements
A、 Before installing the connecting pipeline of the cooling tower, the dirt inside the pipeline should be cleaned. During installation, the position, elevation, and diameter should be determined according to the drawing requirements, and the installation should be carried out according to relevant technical requirements.
B. Cooling tower water pipes with a diameter of DN ≤ 50 shall be threaded, and pipes with a diameter of DN50 or above shall be welded. The welded pipe elbow adopts a pressed elbow, because it can be used for both cooling and heating, and the pipeline construction variable diameter adopts a flat construction. Before installing the pipeline, the dirt and corrosive impurities inside the pipeline must be cleaned up, and the pipeline opening should be sealed and protected during installation pauses. Install a vent valve at the highest point of the pipeline system for easy operation.
C. After the installation of the cooling tower pipeline, pressure and water filling tests shall be carried out. During the test, the equipment valves must be closed and permanent bypass pipes and valves must be installed. The test pressure is required to be 1.5 times the operating pressure.
D. After passing the test, the cooling tower pipeline should be repeatedly flushed until there are no impurities such as sediment and iron filings in the discharged water, and the water color is not turbid, which is considered qualified. Before flushing, the filter screen of the filter should be removed first, and then installed after flushing. When flushing the pipeline system, the water flow should not pass through any equipment.
