The circulating water of the cooling tower is constantly evaporating during operation, and the evaporation is calculated by the following formula:
When WB=27℃ for general air conditioner, (Tw1-Tw2)=5℃, Q: cooling heat (KJ/h)=(Tw1-Tw2)×L×Cp. R: latent heat of evaporation of water (2520KJ/kg), L: circulating water volume (kg/h), Cp: constant pressure specific heat (4.2KJ/kg°C) to obtain: WE=0.0083×L, that is to say circulating water volume 0.83% of it is evaporated.
2) Floating water volume (WD) kg/h
Depending on the structure of the cooling tower and the speed of ventilation, the maximum amount of floating water generally does not exceed the following values:
Open type, 0.3% of circulating water; closed type, 0.15% of circulating water.
3) Make-up water volume ΔW (l/min)
The amount of supplemental water is the sum of the above two items. The specific gravity of water is 1 (kg/l).
Open air conditioner: 1.13% of circulating water volume; closed type: 0.98% of circulating water volume.
For safety reasons, 1.5-1.7% of the circulating water volume is generally required.
4) Volume of sewage WB (kg/h)
The amount of sewage discharged varies according to the water quality and the concentration ratio. For general air-conditioning, the open type and closed type are the same. The above water volume plus 0.3% of the circulating water volume.
5) Selection of water supply pipe
The selection of the water supply pipe is based on the water supply volume and the water supply pressure, and the flow characteristics of the float valve. Especially in the case of a natural falling water tank with low supplemental water pressure, please consult the cooling tower manufacturer in advance.
