
Precautions for the use of closed cooling towers
Closed cooling towers have certain requirements for the external environment during use. Firstly, they should avoid places with severe coal smoke, explosive dust, acidic exhaust, and excessive water vapor; If placed next to a building, it should be kept at a sufficient distance from the air inlet (0.5-3m, depending on the model); If placed inside a well shaped enclosure, caution should be taken against heat dissipation failures caused by the backflow of humid and hot air. In special environments, an induced draft device may be considered.
In the case of rapid temperature changes, it may cause quality changes in the heat exchange tubes and other components of the closed cooling tower, especially in winter. If you want to operate, for a long time, you still need to consider the issue of antifreeze. When using a cooling tower, there are two situations that need to be considered for antifreeze.
The first type: Entering winter
If it is already gradually entering winter and the average temperature and temperature difference are low, antifreeze issues need to be considered.
Second type: temperature below 0 ℃
Due to temperature regulation in the environment, the temperature suddenly drops. If the temperature drops below 0 ℃, antifreeze issues also need to be considered.
In fact, we would say that closed cooling towers need to consider anti freezing issues, not just seasonal changes, but specific temperature changes. As long as there is a particularly large temperature drop, the anti freezing issue of the equipment must be considered.
1. Add antifreeze. When the lowest temperature in the environment is 10 ℃, 20-30% high content antifreeze should be added, which can be flexibly controlled based on actual freezing.
2. Electric heating treatment, if the ambient temperature is around 0 ℃, electric heaters or other heat sources can be installed on pipelines or circulating water tanks for heating and antifreeze.
3. Before shutting down (especially when not in use for a long time after shutdown), compressed air should be used to dry the water in the cooler. The water in the cooler should be drained first, and then compressed air should be connected to the exhaust hole and injected. The remaining water should be completely removed from the drainage outlet to prevent freezing caused by residual water.
Note:
It is necessary to consider whether the added chemicals are compatible with the intermediate frequency power supply and connecting pipelines. When the equipment is not used for a long time, please discharge the water in the spray tank and stainless steel water tank, and also discharge the water in the spray pump body and the main circulating water pump body.
