1. The high-load operation of cooling tower machinery and equipment makes the fan motor operate at the rated voltage or over-rated voltage for a long time. In particular, pay special attention to the fact that the operating current of the cooling tower fan motor is 3-5 times the rated voltage. Therefore, it should be avoided as far as possible to operate the equipment with load or full load (the key depends on the rated voltage and normal operation of the fan motor Matching reserve of working current)
2. The cooling tower fan motor runs in a humid and cold working environment. The cooling tower should check the ground insulation and phase-to-phase insulation of the coil before the fan motor is running. The voltage level insulation specifications are different, and the relevant specifications can be tested. In the operation process of the fan motor, special attention should be paid to the waterproof and moisture-proof of the fan motor.
3. The equipment failure of the cooling tower pump causes the fan motor to be overloaded, the working current is too large and the coil is burnt.
4. There is a problem with the heat dissipation of the cooling tower fan motor. Generally, fan motor coils use air-cooled shells, and cooling tower submersible pumps are water-cooled shells. Large and medium-sized fan motors are mostly cooled by air-to-air heat exchangers and air-to-water heat exchangers. If the cooling water (air) is cut off and the coil cannot dissipate heat, it is likely to burn out the coil.
