Precautions for Cooling Tower Design and Selection
Regarding the location setting:
1. The cooling tower should be installed in a clean and well ventilated environment, and a certain distance should be maintained during the installation of the tower group to ensure that it meets the design requirements for air volume.
2. Cooling towers should be installed in ventilated areas. Try to avoid installing in locations with high temperatures, near heat sources, dust, corrosive gases, and debris, as well as in places with high levels of dust, acidic exhaust, high-temperature exhaust, and water vapor. Especially after inhaling a large amount of coal smoke, not only the cooling tower, but also the piping and other equipment will be corroded.
When there are obstacles or gaps between the blinds and walls, air intake will generate impedance, resulting in insufficient cooling capacity. Please consult our technical department for specific information. 4. The installation position of the cooling tower must reserve space for pipeline configuration and equipment maintenance.
5. Install the piping according to the dimensions specified in the manual, paying attention to our company's several inlet pipes for the side outlet tower. When customers purchase solenoid valves, they should ensure that they correspond to the pipes they purchased themselves.
6. Piping and water pumps must be installed below the operating water level of the cooling tower, otherwise it may cause air intake.
Precautions for setting up cooling towers
Basic precautions:
1. Refer to the operating weight and design safety factor of the cooling tower to verify the bearing capacity of the installation foundation.
2. The foundation of the cooling tower must be designed and constructed according to the dimensions specified in the design plan or the foundation drawing provided by the factory, and steel plates should be embedded according to the required dimensions. All foundation surfaces should be on the same horizontal plane.
3. After the cooling tower is installed on the foundation, straighten the mounting feet and measure the diagonal line of the bottom frame to be consistent before fixing, locking the foundation bolts or welding. During trial operation, please confirm again whether the foundation bolts are tightened or welded to the foundation. When there is a steel frame on the foundation, please tighten the bolts or weld the steel frame.
4. When equipped with shock-absorbing devices, confirm whether the foundation or steel frame, shock-absorbing device, and cooling tower are locked, and assemble them according to the shock-absorbing device instructions for confirmation.
5. The strength of concrete preparation shall comply with the provisions of the current standard "Code for Construction and Acceptance of Concrete Structures" (GB50204).
6. All steel plates shall be calibrated with a level to ensure a levelness of ± 2mm; the deviation of the central axis of all embedded steel plates shall be ± 4mm.
