The structural optimization of closed-loop cooling towers and pipe-type cooling towers was studied. The influence of cylinder structural parameters on the energy consumption of fans and pumps was investigated. Compared with the experimental results, the temperature distribution of the cooling water in the cooling tower along the height of the cooling tower. The system uses a circular pipe simulation method, adopts a segmented calculation method to estimate the outlet water temperature of the cooling water, and compares it with the experimental results, showing good consistency. This model can be used to estimate the cooling water temperature and the outlet temperature of the closed-loop cooling tower under the same flow rate under different outdoor air conditions.
For air conditioning systems that require cooling during the transitional season or throughout the year, it is recommended that the cooler should stop working when the wet bulb temperature is lower than the system temperature required for cold water by the outdoor air. A cooling energy-saving scheme is provided directly from the closed-loop cooling tower to the system using evaporative cooling technology, and the direct cooling method using the logarithmic mean temperature difference calculation system, such as the closed-loop cooling tower. Direct cooling has obvious energy-saving effects when the main unit is not operating. More equipment investments can be accepted within two years, with good economic benefits.
