1. Galvanizing of closed cross flow cooling tower is the process of depositing a layer of zinc on the outer surface of carbon steel pipes by direct current or pulse current electrolysis. The thickness of the zinc coating is generally 20-30 μ m. The zinc coating is a protective layer at room temperature and has good protective ability.
2. Electrogalvanizing solution has good dispersibility, fast deposition speed, stable plating solution, smooth coating surface, and low cost. It has been used for external anti-corrosion of surface evaporative air cooler light tube bundle heat exchange tube by electroplating method, and its equipment cost has increased by about 1.5%.
3. When applied to industrial environments such as refineries, the service life of the equipment is about 1-2 years. However, in the past 2 years, the actual application effect of equipment using external galvanizing is not ideal. Some equipment experiences external corrosion problems within 1 year of use. This is because in order to improve the corrosion resistance of the zinc coating, high-quality or medium concentration chromate solutions are often used for passivation. In order to meet environmental protection requirements, reduce the pollution of hexavalent chromium to the environment and the harm to human health, the galvanizing process has been adjusted. Sometimes, the galvanizing quality is not high, and the galvanized layer on the outer surface of the pipe is uneven and not dense, which can accelerate the electrochemical corrosion of the heating pipe.
3. Hot dip galvanizing is an economical and effective surface anti-corrosion process for hot-dip galvanized pipes. The 10 steel heat exchange pipes are first pickled and rust removed, then immersed in molten zinc metal above 800 ℃. After removal, the outer surface of the pipes is covered with a layer of zinc. To ensure a smooth coating on the outer surface of the pipe, compressed air is used to spray zinc on the outside of the pipe, followed by passivation treatment.
4. The hot-dip galvanizing process outside the tube enhances the adhesion of the zinc layer, with a thickness generally around 80um and uniform thickness, effectively improving the problem of accelerated electrochemical corrosion of heat exchange tubes due to poor quality of electroplated zinc. The use of hot-dip galvanizing for external anti-corrosion of surface evaporative air coolers' light tube heat exchange tubes increases the equipment cost by about 3% and has a service life of about 3 years.
5. The corrosion resistance of zinc iron alloy electroplated new iron alloy coating is 3 to 5 times higher than that of pure zinc coating. This is because the grain size of ZnFe alloy coating is more uniform, fine and dense than that of pure zinc coating. In corrosive media, it has higher corrosion resistance than pure zinc coating. It does not pollute the environment and has a lower cost than galvanizing.
If the temperature difference between hot and cold water in a closed cross flow cooling tower exceeds 18 degrees, due to the need to lower the temperature of the hot water by more than 18 degrees in a short period of time, there must be sufficient time for it to come into contact with the packing air, so the packing should be made high. Due to the cross flow of wind and water in a cross flow tower, the resistance is only related to the diameter depth and not to the same height, so theoretically it can be achieved very high. In sewage situations, the cross flow tower can use grid packing and can be easily cleaned at any time without stopping the machine. Sewage often accompanies high temperatures, so the cross flow tower can be used in two ways.
