1、 When both the cooling water tower and the cooling water pump are placed at the low point, attention should be paid to:
Install an exhaust valve at the highest point of the water system;
2. Install a one-way valve at the horizontal position of the water pump outlet to prevent water from flowing back into the cooling system.
3. The head of the water pump must be greater than the requirement of [(the difference between the high and low points of the cooling system)+system pressure].
4. Install an electric two-way valve at the horizontal position of the cooling water tower inlet. When the unit is shut down, the electric two-way valve should be closed to avoid water backflow in the system.
2、 Cooling systems are generally open cycle, with cooling towers and cooling water pumps located at the lowest point of the system. There is no problem during operation, but when it stops, water above the cooling tower collection tray will overflow. When starting again, the remaining water in the collection tray is not enough for the system to circulate. Check valves can prevent instantaneous backflow, but their effectiveness in preventing slow backflow is not very good because the pressure difference between the front and back of the valve is too small. Therefore, a water tank should be built to store enough water for the entire system circulation. The cooling tower should be installed on the water tank, and the water pump should take water from the water tank. Head of water pump: The height from the outlet of the water pump to the highest point of the system plus the pressure drop passing through the equipment when going up.
